Love, love, love! It's so creative, but just so well written too! A poetic symphony in and of itself.

“You also, with dignity,

rise and fall and turn and tide,

a being alight upon the earth.”

Yes, with dignity! I love that line! Beautiful as always, my friend ❤️

thank you Rosa! endings are the hardest parts of poem to write for me but it's been helping to think "can I end on a note of hope or encouragement?" :)) thank you for reading and commenting!

It’s funny that for me it’s the opposite haha! Endings always come to me first, then I struggle with the beginning. But yes, I agree that’s a super helpful question to ask. I think you end your poems wonderfully every time!

The first poem I was introduced to was from a movie I watched as a kid. Nothing gold can stay by Robert Frost. I still have it memorized after all these years.

I admit I’m not familiar with poetry but I do find the creativity it requires to be admirable.

Vincent, it's such an honour to be read by someone who doesn't usually read poetry! That's actually one of the first poems I got obsessed with two - around age 10. Amazingly cool you still have it memorized.

And I saw you became a paid subscriber, too - I'm deeply honored :) I hope you enjoy what you read over the next couple months!!!

You’re welcome ☺️ Sometimes it’s important to get out of our comfort zone and learning about poetry and reading it just might be good for me.

So thank YOU.
